THE SUMMER OF 2010
Enter
our annual Summer Essay Contest, open to PWA members
only. This year we are introducing a second category
-- one for Juveniles in addition to one for Adults.
The
deadline is postmark October 31, 2010. The Contest rules
follow.
Juvenile to age 16
Adult from age 17

Essay
to be at least 50 words (photos of event optional).

LITERACKI:
"MYSLAC O MOIM OJCU..."
Regulamin Konkursu:
Konkurs adresowany jest do wszystkich osob doroslych mieszkajacych
w USA.
Forma literacka Konkursu jest otwarta (list, pamietnik,
opowiadanie, esej, wiersz, etc.)
Prace musza byc pracami wlasnymi, wczesniej nie publikowanymi,
napisanymi w jezyku polskim.
Termin nadsylania prac uplywa 1 maja 2010
Prace powinny byc nadsylane na adres:
PWA-Group 114 c/o Teresa Makowski,
4941 W Cullom Ave, Chicago IL 60641
Kazda praca powinna byc zaopatrzona pseudonimem i w osobnej
zamknietej kopercie zawierac dane osobowe (imie, nazwisko,
adres, numer telefonu) autora.
Objetosc prac nie moze przekraczac czterech stron maszynopisu
a odleglosc miedzy liniami powinna wynosic 1.5.
Organizatorzy zastrzegaja sobie prawo do dowolnego wykorzystania
prac.
Przyznane zostana 3 nagrody pieniezne ($300.00,
$200.00, $100.00), nagroda specjalna - bilet na uroczyste
obchody 100-lecia Glosu Polek, organu Zwiazku Polek w
Ameryce oraz wyroznienia ksiazkowe.
Prace beda takze opublikowane w formie Pamiatkowej
Ksiazki.
Autorzy wyroznionych prac zostana powiadomieni przez organizatorow
i zaproszeni na uroczyste rozdanie nagrod.

Mary Piergies and Polish Editor, Lidia Rozmus. All in
attendance were President Virginia Sikora, Vice President
Sharon Zago, Secretary-Treasurer Antoinette Trela Vander-
Noot, and National Director Dawn Nelson.
